Holi
Dev Sangam Godawal Social Welfare Committee celebrates Holi, the festival of colors, with fervor and joy every year. This vibrant occasion marks the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring. Amidst joyful gatherings, we engage in color play, dance to festive music, and indulge in delicious treats. Holi embodies unity, love, and the renewal of friendships, spreading happiness and fostering community bonds.
Shivratri
Each year, we celebrate Shivratri, commemorating Lord Shiva’s divine union with Goddess Parvati. Our festivities include puja, bhajans, cultural programs, and the distribution of Maha Prasad. Devotees observe fasts, meditate, and engage in spiritual practices to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings, symbolizing the triumph over ego and ignorance. Through this celebration, we aspire to ignite spiritual awakening and guide individuals towards self-realization and divine grace.
Ram Navami
We joyously celebrate Ram Navami, marking Lord Rama’s birth, on Shukla Navami of Chaitra Navaratri. Through prayers, puja, and hawan ceremonies, we honor Lord Rama with devotion. The festivities include Ramayana recitals, devotional music, and prasad sharing, uniting devotees in celebration. This festival symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, inspiring virtuous living and fostering spiritual growth.
Mela
We proudly host our 500-year-old grand fair at our organization premises, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti from January 14th to 20th. Drawing crowds in the thousands, this celebration attracts people from far and wide. Amidst festivities and cultural performances, visitors enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy and camaraderie, making it a cherished event for all who attend.
